Sr. Analyst Financial Coding

Role and schedule

Required qualifications

• Working knowledge of healthcare coding practices, including CPT, HCPCS, ICD, and DRG codes.
• At least two years of Microsoft Excel experience in data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation, including large datasets from multiple sources.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
• High school diploma equivalency with two years of cumulative experience, an associate's or bachelor's degree, or four years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.

Additional preferences

• Knowledge of Maryland HSCRC regulations, hospital reimbursement methodologies, and regulatory reporting requirements is preferred.
• At least two years in healthcare finance, financial analysis, chargemaster management, or revenue cycle operations is preferred.
