Role overview

Accounting and reporting responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; complete bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable; prepare and review journal entries, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
• Handle GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and provide required documentation.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and cash flow; support financial planning, forecasting, and MIS reporting.
• Supervise junior accounting staff and review their work; assist management with financial analysis and decisions.
• Maintain accounting records in ERP or accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.

Required qualifications and skills

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, GST, TDS, income tax, and statutory compliance.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software; skills in financial statements, general ledger, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and audit support.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy, time management, organisational skills, team leadership, and communication.

Preferred qualifications and experience

• M.Com, CA Inter, CMA Inter, or MBA (Finance) is preferred.
• Pharma experience and Tally Prime or ERP certification are preferred.

Pay

• Pay is ₹25,000–₹30,000 per month.
