About The Role

As the Sport Officer, you'll be the face of ACU Sport and drive the operations, development, coordination and promotion of sport on our Strathfield campus.

ACU Sport activities are aimed at promoting active and healthy lifestyles, encouraging involvement in programs and competitions and creating opportunities for social interaction with an overall objective to elevate student, staff and wider community wellbeing.

The Sport Officer will be responsible for recruiting and engaging students, staff and community members to participate in programs, coordinating and boosting utilisation of clubs and facilities, and forging collaborative working relationships with Sport Activations teams and internal university stakeholders.

You will also manage operations, develop partnerships and manage operational and financial risks.

What We Offer

  • The University pursues an excellence agenda and offers an environment where staff are welcomed and safe, and valued through development, participation and involvement.
  • Total remuneration valued to $112,625 - $120,977 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $95,170 - $102,227 (pro rata) pa (HEW 6), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
  • 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
  • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
