Role Description
We are seeking a Spider Lift Technician for a full-time, on-site role based in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing spider lifts and related equipment. Key tasks include performing routine maintenance, diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues, managing technical documentation, and ensuring the safety and functionality of machinery. The role demands collaboration with the team and adherence to safety protocols to maintain equipment readiness and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical skills, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of electrical systems, control circuits, and the ability to interpret technical schematics
- Experience with equipment like spider lifts, aerial platforms, forklifts, or similar machinery
- Understanding of safety standards, inspection processes, and preventive maintenance
- Proficiency in documenting repair and maintenance activities for compliance and operational efficiency
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to interact with colleagues and clients
- A vocational or technical certification in mechanical, electrical, or heavy equipment maintenance is preferred
- Previous work experience in the construction or industrial equipment sector is an advantage
