About the centre
Rehoboth Speech and Occupational Therapy Centre provides speech and language therapy and occupational therapy for children with developmental and communication needs.
Job summary
The Speech Therapist will provide assessment and therapy services for children.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments.
- Develop individualized therapy goals and intervention plans.
- Provide one-to-one speech and language therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress reports.
- Monitor and document client progress regularly.
- Communicate therapy goals and progress to parents and caregivers.
- Collaborate with other therapists and professionals in a multidisciplinary team.
- Follow professional ethics and centre policies and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Speech and Language Therapy.
- DHA eligibility or DHA license is required.
- Pediatric client experience is preferred.
- Experience with developmental disorders, autism spectrum disorder, speech and language delays, articulation, or communication difficulties is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and child-friendly approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
