Clinical Practice
- Conduct Speech Therapy sessions
- Conduct assessments and report writing in a timely manner
- Support client assessment needs.
- Collaborate with related clinicians working with the same client as such needs arise
- Train therapists, as needed, and support other trainings needs of the company
- Data collection and documentation.
- Collaborate with Case Supervisors, as needed regarding client matters
- Development of session material as needed
- Communicate need for materials to designated staff, when needed
- Complete special projects, as related to speech therapy services, when required.
- Ensure therapy area is kept clean prior to and following sessions by ensuring materials are put back in their original locations.
- Collecting data and analyzing progress of the child through tracking data on electronic device.
- Developing home programs if necessary.
- Train parents in the facilitation of home program.
- Providing parent advise and feedback.
- Provide discharge report.
Administrative Tasks
- Effectively communicate with other departments i.e ABA and OT for goal standardization and proper handover of clients related information.
- Actively seek clinical direction from Team Leader as needed.
- Ensure all evaluations and supervisory feedback is incorporated into session performance and other related job duties.
- Adapting to any updates/ changes made in the electronic data collection system.
- Responsible for maintaining any gadgets provided by the company (broken device needs to be reported, device needs to be plugged in at the charging station, etc.,)
- Participate and attend client clinic team meetings (which includes taking detailed clinic meeting minutes/notes).
- Participate and attend mandatory staff meetings.
- Attend training workshops, when needed.
- Attend company events as needed.
- Check and respond to company emails daily.
- Upload required data on appropriate platforms to meet company data storage requirements as well a health authority requirements.
- Complete all requirements for SLP certification and maintain certification requirements.
- Complete all requirements for DOH/DHA/HAAD licensure and renewal.
- Achieve mandatory Continues Professional Development CPD points that are required for License Renewal.
Supportive Tasks
- Assist with new therapists training on cases.
- Substitute on other client cases when needed and when available (based on assigned schedule).
- Support client assessment needs (when needed).
- Support operations and clinical development needs of company by working on assigned special projects in any given week.
- Work overt time if required.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
- Reports Ethical Dilemmas to concerned staff
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Assures therapy is done in a safe environment
- Reports any risk/ hazard to HSE/Quality representative
- Reports immediately to the case supervisor and HSE/Quality representative any incident which happened within the session
- Strictly adheres to shared materials cleaning protocols and places used materials the designated box.
- Strictly adheres to Hand Hygiene Protocols and standard precautions.
- Strictly adheres to Allergy Management Policy.
- Strictly adheres to Child Protection Policy.
- Implements crisis/emergency procedures according to Hayati Health protocol.
- Performs Fire evacuation promptly when needed.
