Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for children with ASD
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and collaborate with the ABA team
  • Provide speech therapy sessions to children, including one-on-one and small group sessions
  • Work closely with Behavior Analysts and other team members to integrate speech and language goals with ABA programs
  • Provide parent and caregiver training to enhance communication strategies at home
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, providing input and collaborating to ensure the best outcomes for clients
  • Stay current with best practices in speech therapy and behavior analysis

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active and unrestricted license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Ohio
  • Active license with the Ohio Department of Education, or willingness to obtain
  • Experience working with toddler age children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and methodologies is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday

  • In-person at our 2 centers in Columbus, Ohio (Powell & Reynoldsburg OH)
