Required Qualifications

  • · Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • · Minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience
  • · Current New York State license
  • · Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA

Key Responsibilities

  • · Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans aligned with each child’s IEP
  • · Provide therapy to support the development of speech, language, articulation, pragmatic, cognitive, and executive functioning skills
  • · Maintain accurate and timely session documentation, including daily notes and attendance
  • · Monitor and collect data on IEP goals; prepare and submit quarterly progress reports
  • · Prepare comprehensive annual review reports and present findings during school district review meetings
  • · Develop appropriate IEP goals and contribute to relevant IEP sections
  • · Conduct and document formal speech language therapy evaluations
  • · Collaborate with families and educators to support the child’s development and progress

Compensation & Benefits

  • · $60.00-$70.00/ hour
  • · Salary: $70,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
