Speech and Language Therapist

Job Summary

Clinical Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language assessments and develop treatment plans
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions
• Manage clinical caseload independently
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate clinical records
• Support children with speech, language, communication, and developmental difficulties
• Collaborate with schools, nurseries, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide recommendations and referrals when required
• Maintain evidence-based therapy practices and outcome measures

Communication & Collaboration

• Provide guidance and support to families, carers, and educational staff
• Prepare professional reports and documentation
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case discussions
• Build strong relationships with children and families

Professional Development

• Participate in continuous professional development (CPD)
• Attend supervision sessions and performance reviews
• Stay updated with current speech therapy practices and DHA standards

Training & Support

• Contribute to staff training and internal workshops
• Support therapy assistants and educational staff
• Share knowledge and best practices with the therapy team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Speech & Language Therapy
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience
• DHA Eligibility/License required
• Experience working with children with communication and developmental difficulties
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills

Work Schedule

• 5 days/week
• 9 hours/day:
• 6 hours Clinical/Therapy
• 1 hour Administration
• 1 hour Preparation
• 1 hour Lunch Break
• Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED19,000.00 per month
