Full-time, on-site DHA Licensed Speech and Language Therapist role based in Dubai.
Assess and treat children and adolescents with learning difficulties and special needs, supporting communication and meaningful progress through individualized care.
Clinical responsibilities
- Conduct formal and informal assessments; assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop individualized therapy plans, deliver one-on-one and group sessions, and monitor progress against goals.
- Assess and provide intervention for dysphagia and related feeding or swallowing challenges.
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to integrate strategies into school and home settings; train and guide caregivers.
- Maintain accurate documentation, participate in multidisciplinary meetings, and contribute to improving evidence-based practices.
Qualifications
- DHA License and Driving License.
- Relevant degree in Speech and Language Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current professional licensure or eligibility for UAE licensure as required by local regulations.
- Demonstrated speech therapy expertise; strong knowledge of communication and language disorders and their effect on learning.
- Experience with dysphagia and feeding or swallowing challenges, and with children or adolescents with learning difficulties, special needs, or developmental disorders.
- Ability to develop evidence-based individualized plans and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams; strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills and cultural sensitivity.
Language
- Fluency in English is required.
- Additional languages commonly used in Dubai are an advantage.
