Specification and Development Engineer

Development & Specification

• Maintain and build relationships with existing customers by providing timely service and follow-up.
• Be proactive in contacting new and potential customers.
• Follow up on new business opportunities and set up meetings.
• Log relevant detailed information into the CRM system accurately and in a timely manner.
• Share any information that may lead to a potential selling opportunity with the Regional Sales Manager for follow-up.
• Register the brand in all governmental entities and end users.
• Proactively generate good contacts with channel partners, designers, architects, and clients in the KSA market.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of architectural, commercial, industrial, and decorative outdoor products.
• Ensure the sales enquiry process is conducted in a timely manner that meets internal procedures and meets customer satisfaction.
• Communicate daily with the Regional Business & Growth Director to discuss all new business enquiries.
• Achieving agreed targets and work to deadlines.

Customer & Principal Coordination

• Follow up with customers on any enquiries regarding company products.

Marketing

• Update customers regularly on new developments and products and promote the same.
• Create and deliver sales presentations.

Reporting

• Prepare market reports as required.

Experience

• 5 years of relevant experience in specification, sales, or business development within the KSA market.
• Proven experience in dealing with lighting designers, architects, channel partners, and end users in KSA.
• Hands-on experience in registering brands with governmental entities and end users.
• Familiarity with CRM systems for database operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture engineering.
• Professional certifications in sales or lighting are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of architectural, commercial, industrial, and decorative outdoor lighting products.
