Role overview

Work arrangement

• The role is hybrid, combining remote work and on-site presence in downtown Montreal.

Core responsibilities

• Contribute to the architecture and evolution of cloud infrastructure.
• Develop, maintain, and evolve Infrastructure as Code.
• Ensure security compliance and assess security measures.
• Improve and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop or optimize tools and automations to simplify workflows.
• Participate in production deployments and ensure their reliability.
• Monitor environment performance and availability.
• Explore and integrate AI-based solutions for operations and automation.

Required qualifications

• Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• One to three years of DevOps experience.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and principles supporting rapid deployments, service stability, and scalability.
• Expertise in AWS and its key services.
• Methodical and organized approach with understanding of Agile methodologies and tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively in French.

Technical knowledge

• Git and Git-based workflows.
• Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Docker and container-based deployment technologies.
• AWS services including ECS Fargate, EC2, Lambda, S3, ElastiCache, and CloudWatch.
• Monitoring and logging tools including OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, and Kibana.
• Relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, AWS Aurora, and MongoDB Atlas.
• Maven, SonarQube, Java and Spring Boot microservices.
• Jira, Confluence, Slack, RabbitMQ, Keycloak, Twilio, and Entrust PKI.

Preferred skills

• Familiarity with the Azure ecosystem.
• Experience applying artificial intelligence to operations or automation.
• Professional English communication ability.
