Role overview

Responsibilities

• Provide data analysis, internal reporting, and process-improvement recommendations to the corporate sourcing group.
• Communicate order status to suppliers and internal customers and resolve related issues.
• Partner with Accounts Payable and suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve vendor invoice issues in purchase-to-pay systems.
• Assist sourcing managers with managing, testing, reporting on, and updating sourcing systems, including SAP and Ariba.
• Coach and guide other company locations on the purchasing process.
• Lead and participate in assigned Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
• Support other sourcing-related projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualification

• Must make logical and sound decisions in a fast-paced office environment.

Work environment

• Work is typically in an office environment with low to moderate noise.
• The role may require remaining stationary for up to 60% of the workday, traveling to and from meetings, and entering data on a computer.
