Specialist-Sales Support

We are currently recruiting for a Specialist - Sales Support to join our Business Development team in Dubai. Scope: Specialist-Sales Support is responsible for the control, modification, and improvement of all cost models relating to bids, quotes, and renewals across Transguard Group. This role will ensure the integrity of the cost models to capture all relevant cost inputs and provide outputs in the formats required to meet defined internal and external needs. Financial:

• Develop and implement detailed pricing strategies that maximize profitability.
• Conduct cost analysis of manpower resources, including salaries, benefits, equipment, and overheads.
• Forecast revenue projections based on pricing strategies, market demand and sales forecast.
• Work closely with Procurement, Finance, Property, Transport and HR or other relevant cost owners to regularly update internal or external costs into pricing templates.
• In collaboration with the Bid Managers, Business Units and Opportunity Owners, produce detailed financial summaries based on client’s requirements.
• Provide governance on all client pricing to ensure all cost components are accurately captured and approvals are in line with company policy.
• Generate financial reports and analysis related to pricing performance and other key metric for management review. Customer:
• Conduct in-depth analysis of customer pricing requests and requirements to develop customized pricing proposals.
• Collaborate with sales team and BU’s to provide pricing support during customer negotiations, ensuring alignment with company pricing strategies and profitability goals
• Manage customer- specific pricing agreements, contracts and discounts ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with pricing policies.
• Identify opportunities for price optimization based on customer segmentation, market trends and competitive landscape.
• Provide timely support or consultancy for custom pricing requests across all BU’s.
• Support BU and Sales team in creating financial summaries that meet client requirements and attending client meetings as required. Process:
• Be the custodian for the latest pricing templates which include all updated costs from various teams.
• Periodical reviews with FP&A team to ensure pricing financial information is in line with budgets and aligned to business needs.
• Ensure all pricing and approvals follow the groups guidelines and policies.
• Support the maintenance and development of various Excel based pricing templates for different business units based on their specific service delivery methodologies.
• Maintain and regularly update pricing history database for comparison and benchmarking. Innovation:
• Propose new ideas for efficient and competitive pricing and implement as options to enhance pricing process.
• Maintain and improve through automations existing cost models to streamline and enhance pricing process.
• Continuously review and evaluate pricing processes, tools, and strategies to identify opportunities for improvement and drive efficiency and effectiveness. Selection Criteria:
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or mathematics
• 5+ years in a pricing or finance role, preferably in a similar industry
• Demonstrated experience in pricing, finance, or related roles, preferably in a similar industry or environment.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex pricing data.
• Solid understanding of financial principles and concepts, including cost analysis, profit margin optimization, and revenue forecasting
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in pricing analysis, proposals, and documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present pricing proposals to internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and operations.
• Advanced / expert in MS Excel (VBA is a plus)
