Key Responsibilities
- Examine, assess, and diagnose malocclusions and other orthodontic conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' clinical needs and expectations.
- Provide orthodontic treatments, including fixed braces, clear aligners, retainers, and other corrective appliances.
- Monitor treatment progress and make necessary adjustments to achieve optimal results.
- Interpret radiographs, photographs, and digital scans for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Educate patients and families on treatment options, oral hygiene, appliance care, and expected outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with general dentists and other dental specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, patient safety standards, and ethical guidelines.
- Stay current with advances in orthodontic techniques, materials, and technology through continuing professional development.
