Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology healthcare services to patients
- Diagnose and manage gynecological disorders, reproductive health conditions, and pregnancy-related concerns
- Conduct routine gynecological examinations, screenings, and preventive care
- Monitor and manage antenatal, natal, and postnatal care for pregnant patients
- Perform normal deliveries and manage obstetric emergencies when required
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with UAE regulations
- Perform and interpret relevant diagnostic tests, ultrasound examinations, and laboratory investigations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
- Refer patients to other specialists or healthcare facilities when necessary
- Ensure compliance with DOH (Department of Health – Abu Dhabi) standards and guidelines
- Educate patients on reproductive health, pregnancy care, family planning, and wellness
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits
