Crown Hospital One Day Surgery is seeking an experienced and patient-centered Specialist Dermatologist to join our clinical team.
The ideal candidate will diagnose and treat a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions, perform cosmetic dermatology procedures, and ensure high-quality patient care in line with DOH standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed consultations and skin assessments for patients of all ages.
- Diagnose and treat dermatological conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, infections, allergies, and pigmentation disorders.
- Perform dermatological procedures including biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, cauterization, and other minor procedures.
- Carry out cosmetic dermatology services such as laser treatments, chemical peels, fillers, Botox, PRP, and skin rejuvenation (as applicable).
- Develop personalized treatment plans and provide follow-up care for patients.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and lab results related to dermatology cases.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records in the EMR.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and patient safety standards.
- Provide patient education regarding skincare, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with other clinical departments to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in audits, quality improvement activities, and clinical meetings as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- MBBS and recognized postgraduate qualification in Dermatology.
- Valid DOH Specialist Dermatologist license
- Minimum 3–5 years of dermatology experience (UAE experience preferred).
- Strong clinical and cosmetic dermatology skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with EMR systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a one-day surgery environment.
