Audit Support
- Assist in Audit Execution:
- Support the lead auditor in performing audits by gathering relevant data, conducting testing, and documenting findings under supervision.
• Data Collection & Testing
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate processes, systems, and controls, ensuring that audit tasks are completed accurately and timely.
- Documentation:
- Maintain thorough documentation of audit activities, ensuring all audit evidence is properly recorded and traceable.
- Conduct audits, investigations, and provide advisory services to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, improve processes, and uphold organizational standards.
Audit Phases
- Fieldwork:
- Perform detailed testing and data analysis as part of the audit fieldwork process, under the guidance of senior auditors.
- Review financial records, transactions, and internal controls.
- Identify discrepancies, risks, and control weaknesses based on audit procedures.
- Reporting:
- Assist in drafting audit reports by summarizing findings and making recommendations for improvements based on data gathered during the audit.
- Follow up on audit findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented as directed.
- Communicate results of testing and analysis to senior auditors for review and inclusion in final reports.
- Role in Development
- Rotational Exposure:
- Gain exposure to different types of audits (e.g., operational, financial, and project-based audits) to broaden auditing skills and knowledge.
- Professional Growth:
- Develop technical expertise and audit competencies with a goal to progress into a Senior Specialist role based on performance, learning, and experience.
