Specialist - Application Developer

Dubai Media is looking for a Specialist – Application Developer to join our Enterprise Applications team within Information Technology .

In this role, you’ll design, develop, integrate, and maintain enterprise applications that support Dubai Media’s business operations and digital transformation initiatives.

You’ll work primarily with Oracle APEX, Oracle Database, SQL/PLSQL, RESTful APIs, and Oracle Cloud technologies , while collaborating with different teams across the organization to automate processes, modernize applications, and improve digital services.

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications using Oracle APEX and Oracle Database .

Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications based on business requirements.

Write and optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and database objects .

Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and support integrations between enterprise systems.

Work with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) and support integration with systems such as ERP, HRMS, and Oracle E-Business Suite.

Develop digital workflows, approval processes, forms, dashboards, and automated notifications.

Support applications hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle database environments.

Enhance and modernize existing applications to improve performance, usability, and functionality.

Apply secure development practices, including access controls, authentication, authorization, and SSO integration.

Troubleshoot application issues, resolve defects, and continuously improve application performance.

Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
