Two Neighbors is seeking a hands-on Sous Chef to lead its all-day dining and catering kitchen in Dubai.
The role is described as the outlet's highest culinary position, with autonomy and responsibility for the kitchen team and end-to-end kitchen operations.
Candidate requirements
- At least six years of culinary experience.
- Prior Commis 1 or Chef de Partie experience in a high-volume restaurant, café, or catering environment.
- Demonstrated leadership and the ability to run service independently without direct supervision from a Head Chef or Sous Chef.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, kitchen management, and all-day dining service; excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end kitchen operations for all-day dining and catering orders; lead, train, and manage the kitchen team.
- Maintain food quality, consistency, presentation, and hygiene standards, including HACCP.
- Manage food costing, inventory, stock rotation, and waste control.
- Handle menu execution and preparation management, and ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Compensation
- The pay section states AED 3,800–4,000 per month. An application question instead refers to AED 3,600–3,800 per month, including live-out allowance.
