About the role

CloudBees seeks a Solutions Engineer serving prospects and customers across the Middle East and Africa.

The role partners with Account Executives to demonstrate CloudBees Unify and guide customers from initial demonstrations through technical wins.

The position is full-time and remote in the UAE, covering the Middle East and Africa.

CloudBees Unify is described as a governance layer that provides context and control-plane capabilities and enforces consistent policy and evidence across tools, teams, and workflows.

What you'll do

  • Own technical sales-cycle activities, including discovery, demos, technical presentations, and proof-of-value engagements.
  • Map customer DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and toolchains and show how CloudBees Unify adds governance and evidence without rip-and-replace.
  • Translate technical needs into solutions for business challenges including audit readiness and safe adoption of AI-generated code.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and support RFPs and security questionnaires.
  • Connect customers, Sales, Product, and Engineering, and bring field insight to product roadmap discussions.
  • Track DevOps and AI-assisted development trends, competitors, and product updates.

Required qualifications

  • At least 5 years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.
  • Strong command of DevOps concepts, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins, Git, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to engineers and executives.
  • Comfort with the pace and ambiguity of a fast-moving company.

Nice to have

  • A background as a Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or SRE is a plus.
  • MEA enterprise or public-sector account experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance, and governance, including examples such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, ADGM/DIFC requirements, and change management, is a plus.
  • Experience selling or supporting SaaS or platform products is a plus.
