Role overview

Responsibilities

• Resolve Trial Interactive service desk tickets with Service Desk Analysts and Solutions Engineers, and handle Level 1 support escalations.
• Assist with data migration using predefined utilities and processes; perform post-deployment testing after application releases.
• Help build large-scale, highly available systems for enterprise life sciences clients.
• Create internal and client eLearning videos for eTMF and SSU modules.
• Assist with onboarding and training Solutions Engineer I through collaboration and task management.
• Complete other appropriate tasks assigned by a manager or supervisor.

Required skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science from a four-year college and at least five years of product development and tech operations engineering experience.
• General knowledge of web application development, SOA, and web services; moderate knowledge of multi-tier application troubleshooting and T-SQL scripting.
• General knowledge and coursework experience in the field.
• Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and work ethic.
• Superior written and spoken English communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Windows Server, Linux-based operating systems, and Windows XP or higher.
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional, Reader, and Distiller.

Desired skills and experience

• Deep understanding of HTTP, REST, JSON, IIS, Tomcat, web application development, MSSQL, T-SQL, XML, and C# is desired.
• Experience with SSO solutions and advanced shell scripting or Python is desired.
• Ability to multitask across teams and time zones, build relationships, work independently and collaboratively, and provide a high level of service is desired.
