Central function supporting all markets; scales to a team as deal volume demands

Role overview:

Be the technical engine of Fuze's commercial motion.

You partner with cluster leads and country teams to understand client requirements and design solutions across Fuze's infrastructure — on/off-ramps, stablecoins, liquidity, rails, and wallets.

You translate technical capability into clear commercial value and own the technical thread of the deal from discovery to solution design.

This is the first Solutions hire; you set the standard and help build the function as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • **Solution design**
  • — do deep discovery into client technical, financial, and operational needs; architect solutions and produce clear solution-design documentation.
  • **Technical sell**
  • — build and deliver compelling demos; sell alongside the commercial team; be the technical voice in front of client engineering, product, and treasury stakeholders.
  • **Regulatory framing**
  • — speak credibly to regulatory and licensing constraints within a solution.
  • You are reg-aware and can shape designs around constraints, but the regulatory position is owned by group compliance, not you.
  • **Product feedback**
  • — feed client requirements and patterns back to group product to inform the roadmap.
  • **Enablement**
  • — raise the solutioning capability of the commercial team; help country leads sell technically.

Requirements

  • Strong technical pre-sales / solutions engineering / solutions architecture background in payments, fintech, or digital assets.
  • REST API-based solution design experience; fluency in payment flows and financial product mechanics; crypto or cross-border payments strongly preferred.
  • Excellent storyteller and executive communicator — can translate complex infrastructure into commercial value.
  • Enough regulatory literacy to design around constraints and speak to them in front of clients.
  • Comfortable being the first hire in a function and building it out.

KPIs

  • Technical win rate / contribution to closed revenue.
  • Quality and speed of solution design across active deals.
  • Commercial team solutioning capability over time.
