What You’ll Do

  • Partner with Sales to own the technical pre-sales cycle for CAD/CAM, from discovery through close, including articulating how CAD/CAM fits within the broader INNERGY ecosystem
  • Lead tailored product demonstrations that showcase CAD-based design, engineering, and manufacturing workflows, making complex capabilities feel intuitive and tangible for prospects
  • Translate customer requirements into scalable CAD/CAM solutions (libraries, automation, production outputs)
  • Guide prospects through how CAD/CAM supports engineer-to-order and custom manufacturing environments
  • Support technical validations, proof-of-concepts, and complex deal cycles
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to align customer needs with product capabilities
  • Serve as the voice of the customer internally, channeling feedback on trends, gaps, and opportunities to Product, Engineering, and Sales leadership
  • Continuously refine demo environments, including libraries, renderings, and manufacturing outputs
  • Represent INNERGY at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer events (e.g., Closets Expo, Wood Pro Expo, IWF, and regional events)
  • Contribute to INNERGY’s education mission by supporting education sessions, webinars, and Lunch & Learn events as a subject matter expert
  • All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
  • Why INNERGY
  • We hire for how people show up, not just what’s on the resume. Here’s what that looks like day to day:
  • Voice of the Customer. It starts and ends with the woodworker. We build for the people running the saws.
  • Education. We listen, learn, and teach. Curiosity is part of the job description.
  • Agile as Hell. Fast improvement beats delayed perfection. Try it, learn, ship the better version.
  • Transparency. We share what we know, say the hard thing kindly, and earn trust the honest way.
  • Problem/Solution. We run toward problems, not around them.
  • Quality. We deliver as if we’re the ones on the receiving end.
  • The result is a remote team where ideas get heard, ownership is real, and good
  • Compensation and location This is a remote role open to candidates living in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming. We pay competitively based on experience, skills, and market data, plus benefits, and your recruiter will share the range for this role in your first conversation.
  • AI in our hiring process We may use AI tools to help organize applications. A person reviews every application and makes every hiring decision. Feel free to use AI to polish your resume, but keep your answers your own and leave it out of live interviews unless we invite it.
  • Accessibility Need an adjustment at any point in the process? Tell us and we’ll make it work, in line with applicable laws. This role is computer-based, with regular screen time and communication through digital tools. Email [email protected].

Qualifications

  • Background in the architectural millwork, casework, or cabinetry industry (shop floor, engineering, estimating, or production management) strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or technical consulting within a manufacturing software or CAD/CAM environment preferred
  • Natural ability to build trust and rapport quickly with shop owners, engineers, and production managers
  • Consultative, problem-first mindset: you ask the right questions, uncover the real bottleneck, and connect it to a practical solution
  • Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM software (Toolbox, libraries, post-processors) and/or other CAD/CAM-based systems
  • Thrives in a high-accountability, fast-moving SaaS environment. You own outcomes, not just tasks
  • Ability to demonstrate and explain parametric design, product libraries, and production outputs
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills. You can make a CNC post-processor sound exciting to a room full of shop owners
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for trade shows, customer visits, and team events
