Solutions Architect

Role overview

Architecture and stakeholder collaboration

• Conduct discovery sessions and workshops with business and technical stakeholders; evaluate architecture choices and trade-offs.
• Develop high-level and detailed designs across cloud infrastructure, networking, security, applications, data platforms, DevOps, and modernization.
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, implementation approaches, and technology roadmaps.

Presales and delivery leadership

• Lead presales activities including RFP/RFI responses, proposals, proofs of concept, estimates, statements of work, client demonstrations, and technical presentations.
• Provide architectural leadership throughout opportunities and delivery, supporting implementation, integration, security, resilience, operational efficiency, and business value.
• Work with Sales, Delivery, Engineering, Security, Data, and Cloud Operations teams.

Transformation and team contribution

• Contribute to cloud migration and modernization, digital transformation, cloud-native adoption, and AI and generative AI engagements.
• Develop reusable architectures, service offerings, accelerators, and best practices; mentor team members and keep current with technology trends.

Technical and consulting qualifications

• Proven solution architecture experience designing scalable, secure, highly available, resilient enterprise solutions; advanced AWS knowledge and understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, security, IAM, integration, observability, and enterprise architecture; experience delivering AI/ML and generative AI solutions.
• Experience with enterprise cloud migration, modernization, application and digital transformation, consulting, and business-process analysis.
• Strong presales experience with RFP/RFI responses, proposals, statements of work, estimates, workshops, presentations, and client pitches.
• Software development and systems integration knowledge; understanding of cloud economics, TCO, cost optimization, and ROI.

Education, languages, and preferred experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent written and spoken Arabic and English; able to work on-site in Riyadh and collaborate across teams and engagements.
• Experience with enterprise or government clients in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is highly desirable.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Certified AI Practitioner certifications are preferred.
