Role overview

Experience and architecture requirements

• Requires 8+ years of hands-on enterprise application and solution architecture experience, including complex customer-facing digital platforms.
• Requires end-to-end architecture across web/mobile channels, backend services, integration platforms, enterprise systems, and external providers.
• Requires experience defining solution, application, integration, data-flow, deployment, and security architectures.
• Requires knowledge of microservices, domain-driven architecture, API-first design, enterprise integration patterns, and event-driven integration.
• Requires experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, Solace, or JMS; SnapLogic or equivalent iPaaS; and Java / Spring Boot and React / TypeScript stacks.
• Requires cloud-native, container, database, high-availability, resiliency, and secure-by-design architecture knowledge.
• Security expertise includes OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, JWT, role-based access control, certificates, encryption, secrets management, and data protection.

Desirable experience

• Airline, travel, transportation, mobility, logistics, or complex booking platform experience is highly desirable.
• Desirable experience includes real-time transactional platforms, eligibility and business-rule evaluation, geolocation, routing, and customer booking journeys.
• Experience integrating reservation, loyalty, CRM, payment, operational fulfilment, and external supplier systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture for customer transactions from digital channels through APIs and business services into enterprise systems and external service providers.
• Translate business capabilities, functional requirements, and customer journeys into scalable, secure, resilient technical solutions.
• Define solution, application, integration, data-flow, deployment, and security architectures.
• Design microservices, domain boundaries, service communication, and API contracts.
• Architect booking, modification, cancellation, and fulfilment journeys for chauffeur-drive services where applicable.
• Design integrations supporting availability, booking confirmation, failures, retries, and reconciliation with external providers.
