Solutions Architect (Data / AI)

Role Summary

Required Qualifications

• Seven or more years in data or software engineering, including at least two examples of leading delivery teams on client sites.
• Track record taking an enterprise system from design to production and handing it over successfully.
• Able to engage senior client stakeholders, including when the news is difficult.
• Experience in regulated environments where security, data residency, and audit are design inputs.
• Deep experience in modern data platforms or production LLM and agent systems, with working competence in the complementary area.
• Hands-on enough to review team work and unblock it.

Solution Ownership and Delivery

• Own solution design across data platforms, LLM/agent architecture, integrations, and governance; make and document speed, cost, and maintainability trade-offs.
• Design security, data residency, and audit requirements into solutions.
• Lead and allocate work across two to four onsite engineers and maintain the quality of deliverables.
• Run governance forums from daily stand-ups to quarterly reviews and keep status accurate.
• Protect engagements from scope drift and escalate commercial changes through SentraAI leadership early.
• Convert loose scope into deliverables, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and a delivery plan.

Handover and Pre-Sales

• Own knowledge transfer from week one, including documentation, runbooks, training, and shadowing.
• Support pre-sales scoping and estimation for engagements the architect would lead.

Preferred and Advantageous Experience

• Databricks experience is preferred; Databricks certifications or demonstrable project experience are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Direct production experience with LLMs, agents, or orchestration systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience in regulated sectors such as finance, healthcare, or government is advantageous but not mandatory.
