Role Overview
As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving Hexnode’s growth across the UK and regional enterprise market. Working closely with our Sales and Product Development teams, you will act as the technical subject matter expert during the pre-sales cycle. You will be responsible for understanding complex enterprise customer requirements, delivering tailored technical demonstrations, and translating Hexnode’s strategic value into winning customer solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Sales Technical Leadership: Partner with the Sales team to drive technical validation, scoping, and enterprise solution delivery during the sales lifecycle.
- Customer Needs Analysis: Engage with enterprise IT heads, cybersecurity leaders, and systems administrators to discover, document, and analyse technical requirements.
- Tailored Demonstrations: Design and deliver engaging, highly customized product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) tailored to prospect use cases.
- Strategic Value Articulation: Clearly articulate the business and security value of Hexnode’s UEM platform to both technical stakeholders and executive leadership (C-level).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the technical bridge between UK enterprise clients and internal Product Management / R&D teams to feed market requirements into the product roadmap.
- RFP / RFI Response: Manage technical responses for RFPs (Request for Proposals), RFIs, and security assessments for prospective enterprise clients.
- Proven experience as a Solutions Engineer, Pre-Sales Consultant, or Systems Engineer within enterprise software, SaaS, UEM/MDM, or cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of Enterprise IT infrastructure, device management (iOS, Android, Windows, macOS), and cybersecurity principles.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and present effectively to technical IT teams and C-suite stakeholders.
- Hands-on expertise in configuring, testing, and demonstrating SaaS solutions and integrations (Active Directory, Identity Providers, APIs, etc.).
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with commercial acumen and a collaborative mindset.
- Right to work in the UK.
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven experience as a Solutions Engineer, Pre-Sales Consultant, or Systems Engineer within enterprise software, SaaS, UEM/MDM, or cybersecurity.
Strong understanding of Enterprise IT infrastructure, device management (iOS, Android, Windows, macOS), and cybersecurity principles.
Demonstrated ability to build trust and present effectively to technical IT teams and C-suite stakeholders.
Hands-on expertise in configuring, testing, and demonstrating SaaS solutions and integrations (Active Directory, Identity Providers, APIs, etc.).
Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with commercial acumen and a collaborative mindset.
Right to work in the UK.
