Qualifications

  • Master's degree in computer science, business or STEM major with 4-6 years of IT or related field experience OR
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or STEM major with 6-8 years of IT or related field experience OR
  • Diploma or comparable training with 6+ years of professional experience in IT and/or business areas
  • Minimum 4 years related working experience
  • Experiencing Agile way of working or agile implementation approach
  • Consult and support internal and external partners when dealing with complex processes and IT application questions.
  • Good business knowledge in various application and process areas, esp. Order to Invoice: Sales Orders, Deliveries, Picking-Post Goods Issue, Invoicing, Inter Company Flows).
  • Conducts and support the technical implementation of the B2B Integration to external partners
  • Showing strong transactional experience in SAP R3 and/or S4/HANA (SD / MM)
  • Ability to work and navigate in SAP middleware platforms (PO, CPI Integration Suite)
  • Provides a deep technical understanding of standard connectivity messages EDI-APIs and programming protocols (supporting e.g. iDocs, XML, EDIFACT, JSON, UI etc.)
  • Execute studies in preliminary stages of projects, including evaluation of existing or new solutions
  • Familiar with Azure DevOps (or GitHub or similar)
  • Consult and support IT analysis (process and/or data), mentoring, modeling, solution design and optimization of related business processes and models
  • Coordinate and execute prototyping, configuration and testing of solutions based on BASF requirements, while ensuring quality and security aspects
  • Provide structured acceptance, analysis and description of solutions and/or concepts
  • Support and/or steer the formulation of more complex costs estimates for efforts spend solution design, testing and implementation of business solutions
  • Provides Business support and training (processes, tools, reports, etc.) where required
  • Provide guidance and structure to enable day2day operational support incl, advising external support resources
  • Extensive knowledge of standard connectivity messages, related business processes and applications
  • You can demonstrate fluent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
  • Well-developed sense of teamwork in an international team with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication and conflict resolution skills.
