Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead agile solution design and delivery for customer work.
• Manage, coach and develop staff, supporting performance and career development.
• Provide team direction and technical leadership; work with peers on policies and standards.
• Share knowledge, mentor colleagues and advise on technologies and approaches.

Essential requirements

• Successfully delivered software designs for multi-tier modern applications and understands whole-solution architecture.
• Can communicate and negotiate architecture with customer architects and incorporate prioritised non-functional concerns into application designs.
• Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, including SaaS and PaaS offerings.
• Clear technical communication in conversations, documentation and presentations; effective decisions in fast-moving delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to manage, coach and develop junior team members and the wider community.

Desirable experience

• Technology delivery accountability across projects or multi-team programmes is desirable.
• Account development with sales and account managers, people management processes, juggling major projects, sharing technology views and participating in technology communities are desirable.
