Solution Architect - Digital & AI Products

Role overview

Core responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architectures for digital products and platforms; create process flows, capability maps, architecture diagrams, and solution blueprints.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and define integration strategies across enterprise applications, APIs, platforms, and third-party systems.
• Partner with product and engineering teams across the product lifecycle; evaluate technology options and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Support AI, analytics, automation, and data-driven initiatives; consider scalability, security, governance, reliability, and operational supportability.
• Guide implementation and deployment, and communicate architecture decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 7 years of experience in Solution Architecture, Systems Architecture, Enterprise Applications, or Product Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience solutioning API integrations.
• Experience designing distributed systems and enterprise integrations and creating architecture artifacts and process maps.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, innovation and value creation, and structured problem solving.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with AI, machine learning, analytics platforms, and intelligent automation.
• Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, service operations, field service, or enterprise workflow technologies.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and modern software patterns.
• Knowledge of data governance, responsible AI, security, and compliance requirements.
• Agile delivery and product development experience.

Compensation

• Annual base salary range: CAD 82,600 to CAD 132,600 for British Columbia, Ontario, and New Brunswick.
• Compensation varies based on office location, role, skill set, and experience; the stated range is a guideline and is not a maximum.
