Role overview
Design and engineer on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid solar PV systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform PV system sizing, load calculations, battery sizing, and equipment selection.
- Prepare single-line diagrams, layouts, cable schedules, bills of quantities, and technical specifications.
- Conduct site surveys and assess shading, orientation, and installation requirements.
- Prepare technical proposals and coordinate with clients, suppliers, and project teams.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical standards and project requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Solar PV design experience.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and PVsyst.
- Good understanding of LV systems, protection, earthing, and batteries.
Work location
- Work is in person.
