Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Solar Consultant role based in Jiddah.
The Solar Consultant will educate prospective customers on solar energy solutions, conduct initial assessments of customer needs, and recommend appropriate residential, commercial, or industrial solar systems.
Responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads, scheduling and attending client meetings, preparing proposals and basic financial estimates, and guiding customers through the decision-making process.
The role involves coordinating with engineering and installation teams to ensure accurate system design, timelines, and post-installation support.
The Solar Consultant will also maintain detailed records in CRM tools, follow up with prospects, and represent Drexon Renewable Energy at local outreach events, meetings, and presentations.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the solar industry and solar power applications, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, accessible language.
- Proven experience in lead generation and prospecting, including outreach, qualification, and conversion in a sales or consultative environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on listening, building trust, and managing long-term client relationships.
- Comfort working on-site with clients and internal teams, including conducting site visits and basic on-site assessments.
- Ability to understand and discuss basic financial metrics (payback period, ROI, savings estimates) related to solar projects.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with experience using CRM or sales tracking tools.
- Prior experience in renewable energy, technical sales, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Diploma or degree in engineering, energy, business, or a related field is an advantage; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
