Key Responsibilities

  • Hands-On Development: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Lead by example, conducting code reviews, pair programming, and cultivating a culture that values craftsmanship.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate across disciplines, including product, design, and operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion modern engineering practices, including automated testing, CI/CD, cloud-native development, and DevOps. Encourage a mindset of continuous learning and iteration.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Translate complex technical concepts into clear action plans and progress updates.
  • Quality & Reliability: Uphold rigorous quality standards. Proactively identify and address technical debt, system bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., PHP, Java, C#, Python, Go, TypeScript).
  • Strong knowledge of distributed systems, APIs, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and building scalable, resilient systems.
  • Expertise in agile methodologies and product-driven development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the payments, fintech, or e-commerce industry.
  • Track record of delivering customer-facing products and systems at scale.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or technical communities.
  • Advanced knowledge of security and compliance best practices.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture and reactive systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a bias for action.
