  • Ability to analyze an electrical schematic and understand nature of designed circuits
  • Ability to create electrical schematics for simple adapter PCB’s
  • Ability to create mechanical drawings for cables and simple systems
  • Ability to program clean object-oriented code in either a.NET-based language or LabView
  • Ability to work with an international team – both inside and outside of the company

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Python
  • Experience working with AC, high-voltage, and RF circuitry
  • Experience designing high-level automation including robotics, machine vision systems, and use of industrial fieldbuses
  • Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
  • Time is equally split working in an office- and lab-based environment
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds on a daily basis
  • Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary Pay Range: $71,025.00 - 118,375.00 USD per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
  • Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
