Qualifications

  • Minimum 03-05 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) to integrate tests into the deployment pipeline
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) for backend validation
  • Proficiency in automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium)
  • Basic understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases to perform backend data verification
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites to ensure robust software quality
  • Perform manual testing for critical features on new products until automated tests are developed, providing detailed feedback to the development team
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop comprehensive test plans, define testing requirements, and align QA efforts with project goals
  • Manage regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains stable and reliable with each release
  • Identify, document, and track software defects in collaboration with development teams to resolve issues quickly
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid, high-quality releases
  • Develop and execute performance and load tests to evaluate software stability and responsiveness under various conditions
  • Write and maintain test case documentation, test scripts, and test procedures for internal and external use
