Assess and monitor software lifecycle processes and outputs for compliance with approved plans, organizational standards, and certification guidelines such as DO-178C.
Perform process assurance reviews, audits, and evaluations of development and verification activities.
Verify software products and lifecycle data—including requirements, design, source code, verification artifacts, and reports—against regulatory, safety, and certification requirements.
Oversee configuration management so baselines, configuration items, and releases are controlled and traceable.
Monitor change control so changes are authorized, documented, and traceable to approved requirements and problem reports.
Ensure executable software and parameter data can be reproduced from controlled baselines.
Support internal and external certification audits and maintain required evidence and records.
Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions to improve software quality and certification readiness.

Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, software engineering, electrical/electronics engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
At least 5–8 years of relevant experience in software quality assurance, process assurance, certification compliance, or auditing in safety-critical or regulated software environments; aerospace or avionics experience is preferred.
Demonstrated experience with DO-178C and familiarity with related standards such as DO-331, DO-330, ARP4754A, and ARP4761.
Experience supporting certification activities, regulatory audits, or compliance assessments for airborne or safety-critical software.
Strong knowledge of software lifecycle processes, including requirements, design, coding, verification, configuration management, and change management.
Experience in independent process audits, lifecycle data reviews, and compliance assessments against approved plans and standards.
Familiarity with configuration and change control systems, including Git-based repositories and change request or problem reporting systems.
Experience with requirements management, traceability, and lifecycle tools such as Polarion, Jira, or equivalent.
Strong analytical, documentation, technical review, communication, and coordination skills across relevant teams.
QA, auditing, or compliance certifications such as AS9100 Internal/Lead Auditor or ISO 9001 Auditor are an asset.
