QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Sr. Software Engineer, Software Developer, Application Developer, IT Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Sr. Software Engineer, Software Developer, Application Developer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.
  • Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following: Java; Oracle PL/SQL; Spring Framework; JavaScript; Sencha ExtJS; Hadoop; JBoss; Apache Maven; and shell scripting. This position requires four (4) years of experience with the following: using Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS Cloud Technologies to administer and configure Kubernetes clusters; creating Docker images based on deployment requirements; creating Kubernetes deployment files to support application deployments, leverage micro-service design patterns to develop Kubernetes based application deployment topologies; creating and managing Jenkins based CI/CD pipelines; and using AWS Management Console to provision and configure required resources to support AWS EKS deployments.
