Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the technical strategy, roadmap, and priorities for system health and performance data processing.
  • Drive delivery and execution of projects that enhance the reliability and performance of consumer applications.
  • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, fostering an engineering culture.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams across multiple Product Areas to ensure platform work meets customer needs.
  • Build and manage centralized agentic performance optimization systems for first-party applications.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
  • Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Experience leading engineering teams building large-scale pipeline infrastructure and managing OLAP storage systems.
  • Experience managing technical roadmaps, driving system reliability, and supporting software engineer careers.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners, including Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and adjacent infrastructure teams.
