Software Engineer

Overview

• The role
• You'll spend 75–80% of your time coding — building dashboards, integrations, voice agent backends, and API infrastructure.
• Within 90 days you'll be leading client builds.
• Within six months you'll be operating with real autonomy.
• This isn't a role where you execute tickets someone else wrote.
• You take projects from kickoff through delivery and own the outcome.
• As the team grows, you'll also mentor junior engineers and help set technical standards for how we work.
• What you'd actually do
• →Build client-facing systems end-to-end: dashboards, integrations, voice agent backends, API infrastructure
• →Own projects from kickoff through delivery — with increasing autonomy as you establish trust
• →Work closely with Claude Code and AI coding agents as a core part of your daily workflow
• →Collaborate with founders on client kickoffs, architecture decisions, and scoping
• →Mentor junior engineers and help establish technical standards as the team scales
• You probably fit if
• You have 3–6 years of professional engineering experience, ideally at small to mid-sized companies where you owned real work — not one small component of a large platform.
• You use Claude Code or a comparable AI coding agent daily and have a genuine perspective on AI-native development.
• You're fluent in Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Supabase or a comparable Postgres stack.
• You're a tinkerer.
• Side projects, automations, experiments.
• You build things because you can't help it.
• You want to grow with the company — real ownership, real responsibility, real impact on what ships.
• You probably don't fit if
• You need step-by-step direction or are early in your career.
• You prefer traditional corporate culture with rigid ticketing and excessive meetings.
• You're skeptical of AI-assisted development.
• Your experience is limited to one slice of a large codebase at a FAANG-style organization.
