Impact and scope

• Contribute to project tasks and align implementation with business goals.
• Improve system design and architecture while proactively identifying customer-impacting issues.
• Help implement engineering standards and best practices.

Technical craft and architecture

• Design and implement backend services with proficiency in at least one of Go, Java, or Node.js.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve system performance and reliability.
• Develop responsive frontend components using React and TypeScript.
• Apply design principles and patterns to create robust systems across frontend and backend.
• Kubernetes and Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code exposure is valued but not mandatory.

Key responsibilities

• Own features or components from design and implementation through deployment with minimal supervision.
• Anticipate roadblocks and ensure timely delivery of impactful work.
• Guide junior engineers, conduct pull request reviews, participate in interviewing, and share knowledge.
• Complete moderate-scope tasks independently and research solutions before seeking assistance.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and recommend maintainable solutions.

Qualifications and experience

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and practical software development lifecycle experience are required.
• TypeScript and strong React knowledge are required.
• Proficiency in at least one of Go, Java, or Node.js is required.
• The role requires strong collaboration skills and clear technical communication.
