Role overview

Typical responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET technologies and JavaScript frameworks.
• Lead implementation of application features and ensure quality design, maintainable code, and coding-standard adherence.
• Develop responsive user interfaces with HTML and JavaScript libraries or frameworks.
• Build and maintain secure, reliable, performant, and scalable RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Design and optimize SQL Server database objects, queries, stored procedures, integrations, and indexes; tune performance.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in architecture discussions, design and code reviews, and technical decisions.
• Troubleshoot production and non-production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote technical upskilling and development best practices.
• Use GitHub for source control, branching, pull requests, and collaborative code management.
• Apply Gen AI, Kiro, and MCP server concepts to productivity, automation, intelligent applications, and delivery.

Basic qualifications

• Hands-on experience with .NET technologies, JavaScript frameworks, database development, and RESTful Web APIs.
• Practical Gen AI capabilities.

Preferred qualifications

• Hands-on or working knowledge of Kiro and MCP server-based development workflows.
• Experience modernizing legacy .NET Framework applications to .NET Core or ASP.NET Core MVC.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, CI/CD practices, and release management.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, DevOps practices, and application monitoring tools.
• Ability to contribute to technical documentation, reusable frameworks, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
