Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, code, and debug security software for the Windows platform.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements to existing systems and platforms.
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to implement features and resolve defects.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience as a hands-on engineer developing software products and solutions.
  • 1+ years of C++ programming in a Windows environment.
  • Working knowledge of the Windows operating system internals (processes, threads, services, registry, Win32 API).
  • Demonstrated skills including design, prototype, development, unit test, and performance profiling.
  • Hands-on with development tools like Visual Studio, GIT, JIRA, and Agile/Scrum development.
  • Desired Skills
  • Takes ownership of successful delivery of product components and modules assigned.
  • Exposure to Test-Driven Development and a strong quality focus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-directed; requires minimal supervision on work products.
  • Team player with a can-do attitude, yet modest and humble when collaborating within the team and across other teams.
  • Uncompromising attitude when it comes to quality and helping raise the bar of the product and team.
