Job Overview
PayLater is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain fintech applications that support digital payments, BNPL services, merchant integrations, and customer-facing platforms.
The role focuses on building secure, scalable, and high-performance software solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and backend services.
- Build scalable software solutions that support financial transactions and payment processing.
- Integrate payment gateways, banking systems, and merchant platforms.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and software releases.
- Implement secure coding practices and support compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, or C#.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and database technologies.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD tools is preferred.
- Fintech, banking, or payment systems experience is an advantage.
