Requirements
- Strong commercial software development experience using Python
- Experience building modern web applications, backend services and/or APIs.
- Good understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns and maintainable code.
- Experience working with REST APIs and integrating multiple systems.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with cloud-based application architectures.
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD.
- Understanding of application security, performance and observability.
- Experience working with Git and modern development workflows.
- Confidence working in an environment containing both modern and legacy technologies.
- A pragmatic approach to balancing technical quality, customer value and delivery.
