Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Orchestrate and govern AI agents across coding, testing, refactoring, and architectural analysis.
• Architect scalable, secure, cloud-native systems across frontend, backend, and relational databases.
• Build and modernize responsive web applications and high-performance microservices using React, TypeScript, C#/.NET, and PHP.
• Establish AI-enabled quality frameworks, continuous testing gates, and reliability metrics.
• Collaborate with product, design, and systems engineering teams to deliver resilient roadmap features.

Essential skills and experience

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience delivering production web platforms and enterprise APIs.
• Hands-on experience directing AI coding assistants, designing agentic workflows, and validating AI-generated code for security and accuracy.
• Strong development capabilities with React, TypeScript, C#/.NET, and SQL Server.
• Experience designing distributed systems, cloud architectures, secure authentication, and automated test pipelines.
• Commitment to ethical AI engineering, data privacy, transparency, and inclusive code review.

Bonus experience

• Azure services, Docker, and Kubernetes experience is a bonus.
• Familiarity with LLM platforms, RAG frameworks, and MCP servers is a bonus.
• SolidJS, Three.js visualization, or Nx monorepo tooling experience is a bonus.
• Experience in civil infrastructure, construction, geospatial, or enterprise SaaS is a bonus.

Workplace and travel

• The posting states Kamloops, BC, with four days on-site and one day in office.
• Travel requirement is up to 10%.
