How the Team Works

• The team uses two-week Agile sprints with clear goals, ownership, collaboration, and rapid iteration.
• Engineering practices emphasize clean architecture, automated testing, code reviews, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Interns may work across the technology stack rather than being limited to one engineering area.
• The internship has flexible start and end dates aligned individually with academic calendars.

Technology Exposure

• The technology stack includes Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, WebSockets, GitLab, Docker, Ansible, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Depending on project needs, interns may work with frontend, backend, APIs, data, AI-enabled features, or platform services.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and enhance production software across the ENFOS platform.
• Develop user-facing interfaces and reusable components.
• Build backend services, business logic, integrations, and REST APIs.
• Process, validate, transform, and present complex data.
• Contribute to AI-enabled capabilities where applicable.
• Investigate requirements, evaluate approaches, troubleshoot issues, and implement maintainable solutions.
• Integrate frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and platform capabilities.
• Improve performance, reliability, maintainability, and scalability.
• Follow standards for architecture, testing, security, documentation, and code quality.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and implementation teams.
• Use GitLab, CI/CD, Docker, automated testing, and enterprise workflows.
• Work on production-quality systems with mentorship.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and core computer science.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on software development through coursework, projects, internships, research, or similar experience.
• Understanding of modular design, debugging, testing, and maintainable code.
• Familiarity with Git and version-control workflows.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and learning skills.
• Interest in using AI-assisted development tools effectively.
• Experience with listed frontend, backend, data, database, platform, or software-quality technologies is a plus but not required.
