Technology

• The team works with Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Services run on AWS and Azure and use containers in development and production.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with engineers across teams to design and deliver enterprise functionality for SaaS customers, including login flows and self-service management.
• Help improve shared functionality, such as internal interactive product-testing tools.
• Develop technical improvements to the codebase and architecture.

What you'll bring

• Previous experience with Node.js using JavaScript or TypeScript, and creating and maintaining public APIs.
• Experience working on full-stack applications; a portion of the work is front-end.
• Experience with highly reliable, maintainable, and scalable systems.
• Experience with good engineering practices and testing.
• Experience with Docker and cloud environments; AWS and Azure are preferred.

Extra credit

• IAM/OAuth2 experience.
• Understanding or experience of DevOps culture; ability to reason about infrastructure and potentially write Terraform.
• Good SQL knowledge and experience, including performant schemas and queries.
• Knowledge of security engineering and application security.

Compensation

• The annual base salary range for candidates located in Canada is CAD 110,000–151,800; actual salary depends on skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors.
• Equity, bonus, and benefits may be available under applicable plans and policies.
