Role overview
Full-time junior-to-mid-level Software Engineer role.
Design, develop, test, and maintain reliable, scalable software that supports business operations and user experiences.
Work with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other technical professionals.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain applications, web and mobile products, backend services, APIs, and other software components.
- Write maintainable code, conduct code reviews, and develop unit, integration, and automated tests.
- Troubleshoot bugs and system issues; improve application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Participate in the full software lifecycle, Agile activities, API integrations, database work, deployments, and production maintenance.
- Collaborate with QA and cross-functional teams, maintain technical documentation, and contribute to workflow and architecture improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software engineering, software development, or a similar technical role.
- Strong software engineering and application development fundamentals; proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Experience with relevant frameworks, libraries, and development tools; understanding of web technologies, APIs, databases, and client-server architecture.
- Familiarity with relational databases and Git; understanding of testing, debugging, and code quality.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to manage tasks and deadlines.
- NoSQL experience, Agile or Scrum familiarity, cloud platforms, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and automated deployment tools are advantageous.
Preferred qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- A portfolio, open-source contributions, or relevant practical development experience is advantageous.
