Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test BLE-enabled embedded systems; integrate BLE into existing systems.
- Develop and maintain BLE software and firmware; troubleshoot, debug, and resolve BLE issues.
- Work with customers to define and implement BLE requirements and stay current with BLE technologies.
- Design, implement, test, and maintain embedded firmware/software for multiple chipset variants and boards.
- Serve as a technical interface with customer, platform, and validation teams; triage, debug, and fix issues.
- Develop technical teams and provide technical leadership.
Requirements and experience
- 4–8 years of experience.
- Hands-on C programming, BLE, microcontrollers, and SPI/I2C serial communication experience; IoT experience is required.
- Bluetooth protocol knowledge and expertise in Bluetooth Classic and BLE, including link controller development and radio interface resource management.
- B.E. or M.Tech in Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, or Computer Science.
Additional skills and tools
- Interfaces/protocols listed include Wi-Fi, USB, SDIO, UART, and Ethernet.
- Processor architectures and examples include ARM, MIPS, Intel, STM32, TI, NXP, and Qualcomm.
- Operating systems include bare metal, RTOS, and Linux.
- Exposure to threads, semaphores, mutexes, and TCP/UDP socket communication is listed.
- Tools include STM32Cube, STM32 IDE, Git, and SVN; good software debugging skills are sought.
